Good cable management is mostly routing. Before buying accessories, identify which cables move daily, which stay fixed, and where power enters the workspace.
What to look for
- Use removable clips for light cables and a separate tray or sleeve for the power strip.
- Leave a service loop near adjustable monitors and sit-stand desks.
- Label both ends of similar cables before bundling them.
Use before features
Avoid packing power adapters tightly together where heat can accumulate. Clean and dry surfaces before applying adhesive, then follow the manufacturer’s cure time instead of loading clips immediately.
Use the criteria above while you compare. Prices and availability can change.
